In case you only read the headline, I wasn’t serious about ending the ride 30 miles short of our goal. And I was just kidding about challenging the president to a bike race to the White House.
Got up early, packed up and knocked out the final 11 miles of the C&O Canal Trail. Then rolled down Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House, taking this photo to document our arrival in Washington, DC.
